Outline of the Organisation of the Conference
The Conference will be held at VVF "Les Salines", Batz-sur-Mer in Southern Brittany, France
The Conference will start on Sunday evening, Sept. 9, 2007, with a welcome reception and will end on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2007, after breakfast. Sessions will be organized from Monday through Friday in the style of a workshop with informal atmosphere. The location provides many possibilities for a variety of activities to enhance interactions among the participants.
There will be morning and afternoon sessions which start with invited lectures of distinguished speakers. Contributed papers will be presented orally with time allowed for discussions or as posters. It is anticipated that no parallel sessions will be held. The conference language will be English. Posters will be displayed during the entire week.
Copies of all abstracts will be distributed to the participants upon arrival at the hotel. Full-length papers (proceedings) will be published and will appear in the journal Ionics.

A package price has been arranged which includes :

  • full-board accommodation at Residence Les Salines, Batz-sur-Mer from sunday evening to saturday after breakfast (bed, breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks), and
  • registration, banquet, excursion, abstract book, proceedings and shuttle bus transfer to and from the VVF "Les Salines".

All participants are expected to stay at the VVF "Les Salines".

 
Scholarships
Some support will be available for students and young postdocs. An informal application should be made as early as possible with a short statement of the personal situation. Copies of relevant documents, if appropriate, should be included. Deadline for the application of support is June 1, 2007.
