Welcome to the home page of the MSIN08 workshop, which will place in Montpellier, France, on June 28, 2008.

Workshop Organizers :

  • Annick Loiseau (ONERA, Chatillon, France)
  • Jean-Louis Sauvajol (CNRS-University of Montpellier, Montpellier, France)
  • Ado Jorio (UFMG, Belo Horizonte, Brazil)
  • Daniel Bernard (ARKEMA, France)

Scope :

This satellite workshop of the NT08  conference will focus on metrology, standardization and industrial quality of nanotubes.

Indeed, development of protocols for the definition of sample parameters like composition, purity, stability, homogeneity, dispersability, structural metrics are important for both research and applications of nanotubes.

Objective :

To open a dialog among the international scientists, companies and investors interested on nanotube science and technology, focused on the metrological important issues for technical growth and innovation.

This first workshop has been in Rio de Janeiro, June 22, 2007. It was a satellite meeting of the Eighth International Conference on the Science and Application of Nanotubes, NT07 (Ouro Preto, June 24-29,2007)
