NT08 conference

 

Tutorials  
Three Tutorials are scheduled to the special to the students and young scientist attending the conference on sunday june 29th from 2 pm:
  • Analytical Transmission Electron Microscopy and Spectroscopy and their applications to the study of structural properties of nanotubes
    Prof. Odile Stéphan - University of Orsay, France
  • Optical and spectroscopic properties of carbon nanotubes
    Prof. Tony Heinz - Columbia University, USA
  • Transport properties of carbon nanotubes
    Prof. Richard Martel - University of Montréal, Canada

Each Tutorial will be allocated 60 mn followed by 30 mn discussion with the audience. The lectures will have a pedagogical and training character, such as making the non specialist of the field able to follow it. They will reflect the state of the art in the field as well as the challenging questions for future research.

 
 
Regular Conference
Regular conference includes keynotes, invited talks, contributed talks and poster sessions.The NT08 sessions will be starting around 8h30 am.
