SUMMARY:Wen Luo Seminar
DESCRIPTION:Interphase Design and In-Situ Characterization for Rechargeable Batteries \n\nWen LUO \nWuhan University of Technology (WUT) \nBio\nWen Luo is a professor of physics at Wuhan University of Technology (WUT). She received her Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from WUT in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Liqiang Mai. During her Ph.D. studies\, she worked as a visiting student at the University of Lorraine (2016–2017) under the supervision of Prof. Jean-Jacques Gaumet. Her current research interests focus on materials for energy and electronics\, including next-generation batteries\, neuromorphic devices\, failure analysis techniques\, and in-situ characterizations. She has led more than 10 projects\, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)\, the France-China Young Talents Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST). She has published over 60 academic papers as first or corresponding author\, including papers in *Nature Communications*\, *Advanced Materials*\, *National Science Reviews*\, *JACS*\, *Chem*\, and *Matter*\, and holds over 10 patents. She currently serves on the youth editorial board of *Carbon Energy*\, *Rare Metals*\, and *Advanced Powder Materials*\, and is a board member of *Coatings*. \nAbstract\n. The stability of the electrode-electrolyte interface is crucial for the long-term operation of high-performance rechargeable batteries. My talk will introduce our recent advances in interphase design for non-aqueous potassium-ion batteries (PIBs) and emerging ultrafast-charging aqueous proton batteries (APBs). \nContact: Olivier Crosnier (ST2E)
