{"id":6318,"date":"2026-04-28T14:24:14","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T12:24:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/amazing-chemistry-and-physics-for-a-powerful-oral-presentation\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T14:24:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T12:24:14","slug":"amazing-chemistry-and-physics-for-a-powerful-oral-presentation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/amazing-chemistry-and-physics-for-a-powerful-oral-presentation\/","title":{"rendered":"Amazing chemistry and physics for a powerful oral presentation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/poizot-philippe\/\">Philippe Poizot<\/a>, one of our laboratory&#8217;s professors at <a href=\"https:\/\/english.univ-nantes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nantes University<\/a>, spoke to students in 1\u00e8re classes at the Jean Bodin high school in Les Ponts de C\u00e9 and the Alcide d&#8217;Orbigny high school in Bouaye on the subject of Electrical Energy, Batteries and their Environmental Impact.<\/p>\n<p>He spoke at the request of Mme Boisteux and Mr. Hugues Fontaine, Inspecteur P\u00e9dagogique R\u00e9gional de Physique Chimie, from the Rectorat de l&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ac-nantes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Acad\u00e9mie de Nantes<\/a>. These meetings are part of the &#8220;Chimie et Physique \u00e9tonnantes pour un Grand oral percutant&#8221; program in the Acad\u00e9mie de Nantes, a partnership between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNRS<\/a> and the French <a href=\"https:\/\/www.education.gouv.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Education<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>These exchanges with high school students were also part of the regional &#8220;Actions Jeunes et Sciences&#8221; project, which culminated in a day of discovery and exchange at Nantes University.
