2026 in Nantes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/\">The IMN<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ceisam.univ-nantes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CEISAM<\/a>, and<a href=\"https:\/\/us2b.univ-nantes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">US2B<\/a> were pleased to host the <strong>19th edition of the TheMoSiA international conference<\/strong>, which is currently taking place in Nantes and bringing together nearly 200 researchers.<\/p>\n<p>The research areas cover a wide range of topics related to theory, modeling, and simulation at the atomic level, ranging from cutting-edge methodological innovations to practical applications, while pushing the boundaries of the latest techniques in theoretical and computational chemistry, materials science, and biology.<br \/>\nTh\u00e9MoSiA is a French multidisciplinary research network bringing together researchers who develop or use theories and methodologies, or conduct simulations, in which the atomic scale is of major interest.<\/p>\n<p>Its members are united around the use and development of theoretical tools of general interest in order to address current and future scientific challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Renowned guest speakers addressed the conference during these sessions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eric Canc\u00e8s, \u00c9cole des Ponts \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ip-paris.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Institut Polytechnique de Paris<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inria.fr\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Inria<\/a>, Marne-la-Vall\u00e9e<\/li>\n<li>Carmen Domene, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bath.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Bath<\/a>, UK<\/li>\n<li>Natacha Gilet, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ens-lyon.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\"
