{"id":7044,"date":"2026-08-07T09:05:47","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T07:05:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/the-imn-at-the-7th-international-conference-on-data-driven-plasma-science-icddps-7\/"},"modified":"2026-08-07T09:05:47","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T07:05:47","slug":"the-imn-at-the-7th-international-conference-on-data-driven-plasma-science-icddps-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/the-imn-at-the-7th-international-conference-on-data-driven-plasma-science-icddps-7\/","title":{"rendered":"The IMN at the 7th International Conference on Data-Driven Plasma Science (ICDDPS-7)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/ettouri-rim\/\">Rim Ettouri<\/a>, a faculty researcher with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/teams\/plasmas-and-thin-films\/\">Plasmas and Thin Films (PCM)<\/a> team, participated in <strong>the 7th International Conference on Data-Driven Plasma Science (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icddps.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ICDDPS-7<\/a>)<\/strong>, held at<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-kiel.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the University of Kiel<\/a> in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>There, she presented her recent work on modeling the Bosch deep plasma etching process for silicon, combining multiscale physical simulations and machine learning to more effectively explore operating conditions and predict process characteristics and etch profiles.<\/p>\n<p>The conference also provided an opportunity for numerous scientific exchanges with the international plasma community.
