{"id":7456,"date":"2026-09-15T10:35:21","date_gmt":"2026-09-15T08:35:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/visit-by-students-from-the-nantes-university-institute-of-technology-iut-materials-science-and-engineering\/"},"modified":"2026-09-15T11:47:34","modified_gmt":"2026-09-15T09:47:34","slug":"visit-by-students-from-the-nantes-university-institute-of-technology-iut-materials-science-and-engineering","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/visit-by-students-from-the-nantes-university-institute-of-technology-iut-materials-science-and-engineering\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit by students from the Nantes University Institute of Technology (IUT), Materials Science and Engineering"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>We were pleased to welcome students from the<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/iutnantes.univ-nantes.fr\/fr\/formations\/but-sgm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Nantes University Institute of Technology (IUT), who are in their second year of the Bachelor\u2019s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, with a specialization in<\/strong><\/a> &#8220;Materials Characterization and Expertise.&#8221; They had the opportunity to learn about the laboratory\u2019s activities and to meet and discuss ongoing research projects with faculty members, researchers, engineers, and technicians.<\/p>\n<p>They were able to tour our experimental facilities, including those equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for microscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and more\u2026<\/p>\n<p>It was a great opportunity for the young students to get a glimpse of everyday life in a laboratory and for the institute\u2019s staff to share their passion for materials science research.<\/p>\n<p>This opportunity for exchange highlights the strong ties between our laboratory and the Nantes University Institute of Technology (IUT).
