{"id":7581,"date":"2026-09-27T08:57:48","date_gmt":"2026-09-27T06:57:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/reine-mvodo-a-new-associate-professor-on-the-id2m-team\/"},"modified":"2026-09-29T09:16:44","modified_gmt":"2026-09-29T07:16:44","slug":"reine-mvodo-a-new-associate-professor-on-the-id2m-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/reine-mvodo-a-new-associate-professor-on-the-id2m-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Reine Mvodo, a new Assistant Professor on the ID2M team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are very pleased to welcome <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/mvodo-eba-reine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Reine Mvodo<\/strong><\/a> as <strong>an Assistant Professor<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/english.univ-nantes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the University of Nantes<\/a> within<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/materials-engineering-and-metallurgy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Materials Engineering and Metallurgy (ID2M) team<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At <a href=\"https:\/\/icb.cnrs.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Interdisciplinary Carnot Laboratory of Burgundy (ICB)<\/a> in Dijon, Reine Mvodo is conducting doctoral research on the development of new duplex stainless steel composites using powder metallurgy, specifically through Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) and hot isostatic pressing. During these three years, she also taught general chemistry and metallurgy at <a href=\"https:\/\/polytech.ube.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Polytech Dijon<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ube.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the University of Burgundy Europe (UBE)<\/a>. Following the completion of her dissertation, Reine was hired as a research assistant (ATER) at UBE for a one-year term.  <\/p>\n<p>These years of research have enabled him to develop expertise in understanding microstructures, phase transformations, and diffusion phenomena in mixtures of ferritic and austenitic steels produced by powder metallurgy.<\/p>\n<p>At the University of Nantes, she joined the faculty of the Materials Department at <a href=\"https:\/\/polytech.univ-nantes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Polytech Nantes<\/a>.
