{"id":7586,"date":"2026-09-27T09:07:13","date_gmt":"2026-09-27T07:07:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/louiza-larbi-a-new-associate-professor-on-the-st2e-team\/"},"modified":"2026-09-27T09:07:13","modified_gmt":"2026-09-27T07:07:13","slug":"louiza-larbi-a-new-associate-professor-on-the-st2e-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/louiza-larbi-a-new-associate-professor-on-the-st2e-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Louiza Larbi, a new associate professor on the ST2E team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are very pleased to welcome <strong>Louiza Larbi<\/strong>, who is joining the IMN as <strong>an Associate Professor from <a href=\"https:\/\/english.univ-nantes.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the University of Nantes<\/a><\/strong> as part of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/electrochemical-energy-storage-and-conversion\/\">the ST2E (Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion) team.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>With a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry, Louiza specializes in materials for energy storage systems, with expertise in the synthesis, characterization, and evaluation of the electrochemical performance of various types of materials.<\/p>\n<p>After completing a Ph.D. at<a href=\"https:\/\/www.is2m.uha.fr\/fr\/accueil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IS2M<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icgm.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ICGM<\/a> <em>(C. Matei Ghimbeu, L. Monconduit)<\/em> focused on the development of carbon-based anodes for next-generation potassium-ion batteries (KIBs), which she defended in 2023. Louiza completed a CNRS postdoctoral fellowship at <a href=\"https:\/\/lcmcp.science\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LCMCP<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cemhti.cnrs-orleans.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CEMHTI<\/a> <em>(A. Perez, C. Laberty Robert, E. Salager) focusing on <\/em>sulfide and hybrid (sulfide\/polymer) solid <em> electrolytes <\/em>for all-solid-state batteries. <\/p>\n<p>Louiza then joined <a href=\"https:\/\/liten.cea.fr\/cea-tech\/liten\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CEA Liten<\/a> in Grenoble <em>(O. Raccurt, S. Geni\u00e8s, L.
