{"id":7968,"date":"2026-10-15T11:06:43","date_gmt":"2026-10-15T09:06:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/the-pcm-and-pmn-teams-at-the-cold-plasma-network-technology-school\/"},"modified":"2026-10-15T11:06:43","modified_gmt":"2026-10-15T09:06:43","slug":"the-pcm-and-pmn-teams-at-the-cold-plasma-network-technology-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/the-pcm-and-pmn-teams-at-the-cold-plasma-network-technology-school\/","title":{"rendered":"The PCM and PMN Teams at the Cold Plasma Network Technology School"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The IMN was well represented at<a href=\"https:\/\/rpf-ecole2026.sciencesconf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Cold Plasma Network Technology School<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>From October 12 to 15, nine members of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/teams\/plasmas-and-thin-films\/\">PCM<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/physics-of-materials-and-nanostructures\/\">PMN<\/a> teams\u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/mannequin-cedric\/\">C\u00e9dric Mannequin<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/ettouri-rim\/\">Rim Ettouri<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/granier-agnes\/\">Agn\u00e8s Granier<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/cardinaud-christophe\/\">Christophe Cardinaud<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/barbe-jeremy\/\">J\u00e9r\u00e9my Barb\u00e9<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/chartrain-coline\/\">Coline Chartrain<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/seigneur-leo\/\">L\u00e9o Seigneur<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/le-pape-thomas\/\">Thomas Le Pape<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs-imn.fr\/en\/member\/cordiez-justine\/\">Justine Cordiez<\/a>, took part in the Cold Plasma Network Technology School in Carry-le-Rouet, near Marseille.<\/p>\n<p>The event brought together 77 participants from laboratories in the French cold plasma community to discuss two major topics: the generation of cold plasmas and the study of instabilities in plasma sources.<\/p>\n<p>These sessions provided an opportunity to:<br \/>\n&#8211; Understand the diversity and complexity of the operating conditions for creating cold plasmas<br \/>\n&#8211; Acquire the key insights needed to study the phenomena responsible for the initiation and stability of cold plasmas<br \/>\n&#8211; Help bring together the plasma physics community and foster intergenerational, cross-professional, and interdisciplinary collaboration<\/p>\n<p>A big thank you to the Cold Plasma Network Steering Committee for organizing these events, which were full of valuable discussions!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The IMN was well represented atthe Cold Plasma Network Technology  [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":7969,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[46,47,48],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-7968","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-events","category-pcm","category-pmn"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.3 -
