2001-03: Postdoctoral position at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland under the supervision of Prof. André Merbach. ”Studies of solvatation mechanisms of Eu2+ and Gd3+ ions in nonaqueous solutions. Synthesis and characterization of new Eu2+ complexes stabilized with heterocyclic ligands.”

• Elaboration of new organic-inorganic and inorganic hybrid materials with photoinduced properties (photochromism, photoluminescence, vapoluminescence, UV absorber, photocatalysis, SERS detection, luminescent sensors)
• Hybrid polyoxometalate chemistry
• Design of new plasmonic hybrid Ag@metal-oxide semiconductor nanostructures
