- Quantum materials: study of the insulator-to-metal transition in Mott insulators; volatile and non-volatile filaments. Memory – Neuromorphism.
- Multifunctional nanowires and nanotubes: design, synthesis using the template method, characterization, and physical properties. Based on conjugated polymers, noble metals, magnetic metals, polymer nanocomposites filled with carbon nanotubes, and photoluminescent clusters.
- Spin Electronics – Nanomagnetism.
