Doctoral students’ association
IMN-SYRA
The IMN-SYRA (Students and Young Researchers Association), created in September 2019, aims to develop and maintain professional or friendly relationships between current and former IMN students or young researchers.
By creating a solid network, the association strives to enhance the contribution of younger generations in research.


What is SYRA?
SYRA’s main missions are :
- Facilitating the integration of new arrivals
- Act as a link between doctoral students and IMN management
- Developing cohesion within the laboratory
- Develop a network of IMN alumni
Who is SYRA?
SYRA is managed by a board that is renewed every year. Composition of the board in 2026:

- Morgane PHILIPPE (Treasurer),
- Cyril THEODOSE (Vice treasurer),

- Ravi RAJ (Relais International).
Here are a few examples:

- PhD’lympics, Olympiads in partnership with two other PhD student associations from campus laboratories: CASSIR (CEISAM) and LOGIN (LS2N).
- Numerous events throughout the year to create links and foster cohesion within the laboratory (karaoke, shared meals, after-work).
