Cell design and test

visuel test01A high temperature fuel cell testing system has been designed and built in order to evaluate the performances of our cells under different operating conditions (T° and gas).

3 types of button cells were synthesized and tested:

  • Materials : electrolyte : BaIn0.3Ti0.7O2.85
  • anode : 18.7%-vol. Ni/BaIn0.3Ti0.7O2.85
cathode : La0.8Sr0.2MnO3-δ
Electrolyte supported cell

Thick and dense pellet of electrolyte + slurries of anode and cathode.

Anode supported cell (co-densified)

Co-pressing and co-firing of powders of anode and electrolyte materials + slurry of cathode.
