Philippe Poizot Named CNRS Ambassador for Innovation

Philippe Poizot, a professor at the University of Nantes and a researcher with the Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion team, has been named a CNRS Innovation Ambassador.

What if innovation spread through osmosis, from researcher to researcher? That is the goal of the Innovation Ambassadors Network, launched by the CNRS. As witnesses to real-world experiences, these dedicated scientists embody a dynamic form of innovation—rooted in research and open to society.

What qualities are expected of these ambassadors? Proven experience in commercialization, the ability to communicate clearly, and a genuine desire to share knowledge. The network currently brings together some eighty researchers. It highlights the diverse forms that innovation can take: participation in a technology transfer or commercialization program, the creation of a startup, an industrial chair, a joint laboratory, a collaborative research contract, and more.
