Olivier Joubert and Olivier Chauvet named to the Order of Academic Palms

Congratulations to Olivier Joubert and Olivier Chauvet, appointed to the Ordre des Palmes Académiques!
Olivier Joubert, Professor at Nantes University and Director of the CNRS Hydrogen Research Federation, is also head of the Electrochemical Energy Storage and Transformation (ST2E) team at our institute. Sophie Guillaume, Deputy Scientific Director, CNRS, Department of Chemistry, explains that “Olivier Joubert has been nominated by the CNRS in recognition of his overall research in the fields of hydrogen production in high-temperature ceramic electrolysis cells and its conversion in high- and medium-temperature solid oxide fuel cells. And more broadly, he is distinguished for his significant and lasting contribution to the whole scientific community of inorganic materials, notably through the CNRS, and in particular for his leadership of the CNRS Hydrogen Research Federation.”
Olivier Chauvet, Professor at Nantes University and Director of the Science and Technology Cluster, conducts research in our laboratory on understanding structure/physical property relationships at microscopic and nanoscopic scales. His work also covers nanotubes, nanocomposites and nanohybrids, as well as the electronic and magnetic properties of unconventional conductors. Major advances in our understanding of the materials of the future.
This nomination is a well-deserved recognition of their involvement and contribution. Congratulations to all!
