Themosia research group’s Modeling Scientific Day
We were delighted to host the “Modelling” scientific day of the ThéMoSiA Research Group of the Pôle Ouest of the French Theoretical Chemistry Network (RFCT), organized by Chris Ewels (PMN), and Camille Latouche (MIOPS).
Some fifty participants from laboratories in Nantes, Rennes, Poitiers, Brest and Paris took part in this meeting to discuss their modeling research activities.
ThéMoSiA is a French multidisciplinary research network bringing together researchers developing or using theories, methodologies or simulations in which the atomistic scale is of major interest.
Theories ranging from quantum mechanics to mesoscopic modeling are used independently or within multi-scale models. ThéMoSiA lies at the crossroads of a wide range of research fields and applications in chemistry, biology and physics. Its members are federated around the use and development of theoretical tools of general interest to meet current and future scientific challenges.
