Bio
Wen Luo is a Professor of Physics at Wuhan University of Technology (WUT). She received a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from WUT (2018) under the supervision of Prof. Liqiang Mai. During her Ph.D. study, she worked as a visiting student at University of Lorraine (2016-2017) under the supervision of Prof. Jean-Jacques Gaumet. Her current research interests focus on materials for energy and electronic, including next-generation batteries, neuromorphic devices, failure analysis techniques and in-situ characterizations. She has undertaken more than 10 projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), France-China Young Talents Program of Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST). She has published over 60 academic papers as the first/corresponding authors, including papers in Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, National Science Reviews, JACS, Chem, and Matter, and holds over 10 patents. She is now on the youth editorial board of Carbon Energy, Rare Metals, Advanced Powder Materials and the board member of Coatings.

Abstract
The stability of the electrode-electrolyte interface is crucial for the long-term operation of rechargeable high-performance battery. My talk will introduce our recent advances in interphase design for non-aqueous potassium ion batteries (PIBs) and emerging ultrafast charging aqueous proton batteries (APBs).
