Function:
Doctoral student
Main research themes:
PVD deposition, HiPIMS and e-HIPIMS processes, thin films, micro-supercapacitors
Current research project:
Doctoral thesis on the deposition of thin-film electrodes by high-power pulse magnetron sputtering (HiPIMS) for the production of 3D micro-supercapacitors.
Activities in the research community :
Secretary of IMN’s SYRA doctoral students’ association
Biography:
With a Master’s degree in Innovative Materials and Energy Systems, I did my end-of-studies internship at STMicroelectronics in Tours, where I worked on optimizing an etching process for TaN/SiN/TaN capacitors. Currently a PhD student at the Institut des Matériaux Jean Rouxel in the PCM team, my work focuses on the development of electrodes for 3D micro-supercapacitors, using high-power pulse sputter deposition techniques (HiPIMS) and its enhanced variant e-HiPIMS. The aim of this thesis is to optimize the structuring, compliance and electrochemical performance of electrodes (TiN, VN/VOxNy) on 3D substrates to meet high-density energy storage needs in miniaturized systems.
