Journées Des Doctorants IMN – JDD 2026

A great success for the 2026 edition of IMN’s Journées des Doctorants (JDD)!
Organized by SYRA, the association of IMN doctoral students and alumni, this event brought together the IMN community for two days of scientific exchanges.
First-year doctoral students presented their research activities in the form of posters, and second-year students gave lectures on their work in progress, illustrating the diversity and richness of the research carried out at IMN.
One of the highlights of this year’s event was a talk by Christophe Vallée, CNSE researcher at the University of Albany, on “More than 50 years of innovation in plasma etching: from RIE to ALE… and what’s next?
In parallel with the oral and poster presentations, SYRA has organized the second edition of the “My thesis in a photo” photo competition: a unique look by participating PhD students at research in materials science, a vast field that brings together a wide variety of skills and expertise. The exhibition will remain on display in front of the IMN building until the end of May.
A “Treasure Hunt” was organized to highlight the work of doctoral students at IMN, in the form of a quiz spread across the campus.
Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 edition:
